Friends of the Cam Object to the Draft Local Plan
Friends of the Cam have sent a letter of objection to the Draft Local Plan. The consultation closes on the 13th December.
The Steering Group of Friends of the Cam object to the proposed growth on the grounds of inadequate water supply, effect on national food security, failure to minimise climate change, likely irreparable damage to ecosystems, carbon emissions resulting from construction, lack of an integrated public transport system, undermining of the Government's policy of ‘levelling up’, and a democratic deficit in the process and evidence base.
We ask our supporters to write in to Greater Cambridge Planning in support of our letter.
