Cambridge Labour Party Environment Forum (CLEF)
The Cambridge Labour Party Environment Forum (CLEF) has been established for Labour Party members concerned about our environment and committed to improving it in ways that minimise social inequality. It meets regularly to discuss how we can do this: through educating ourselves about local and wider issues and identifying how we can take actions to improve our environment, and avoid the various environmental catastrophes we face. This includes reviewing various development plans for Cambridge, supporting biodiversity initiatives and campaigns against erosion of public open space, contributing to the local Labour Party manifesto on environmentally related issues, and inviting speakers to tell us about their environmental research and/or campaigns. CLEF is a founder member of Friends of the Cam.

Cambridge Friends of the Earth is part of a movement creating a safer climate, flourishing nature, and healthy air, water and food, now and for future generations. We campaign for change in our community to make a difference to the environment locally, nationally, and globally.
The Cambridge Schools Eco Council are an organisation run by children to demand climate justice in Cambridge and around the world. They organise the Cambridge YouthStrikes4Climate, take part in community events, work to educate locals both young and old and meet with businesses and politicians to find constructive ways to save the planet.
CPRE ( Campaign for the Protection of Rural England) campaign nationally and locally for positive solutions for the long-term future of the countryside. Nationally, we produce in-depth research and sound arguments to press the government, Parliament and other decision-makers to support the countryside – by safeguarding precious Green Belts, promoting urban renewal and restricting development on greenfield sites, campaigning for the protection of our most important national landscapes as well as the countryside on our doorstep.
Pesticide Free Cambridge We are a Cambridge based group that bridges activism and academic based approaches to tackling environmental challenges. We follow the Ecological Public Health and Planetary Health principles that highlight the interlinked relationship between environmental, climatic and human health. We believe that there is considerable power in focusing on the potential for changing localised, community level behaviour as a means of tackling global problems.
Cambridge Green Party We campaign for a healthier, freer, cleaner city in a fair and sustainable Britain. We stand up for the environment, electoral reform and the common good.
